Painted some interior pieces! Check it! No 56k
I painted my interior! I was surprised on how it came out. Ive never painted in my life and it came out pretty sweet. I use the following following paint and clear coat, no sanding...
In on of the pictures you can see where I took out the window button panel... The stupid tab broke off and if you slam the door hard it comes up a little bit so watch out if you do that. its a huge tab on the end so it might be hard to not break...
I did about 3 light coats of paint and 3 of the clear coat... it dries SUPER fast. you can do this in a few hours. do one coat wait and hour, another, wait an hour...etc...I was just trying to be safe but it came out good. Tell me what you think!!

Thanks! I was worried the metal flakes would look corny but it looks pretty good. im thinking about sanding all of my pillars and painting it the same color. Then again i dont know if i should keep the texture and use an adhesion promoter... Im really digging the color though so id definitely do more of it cause it looks somewhat unfinished.

Honestly I couldn't exactly tell you... Mainly cause I'm driving a TCN, but It would probably be a matter of preference if you want an exact match...
I think its much lighter. The BOP seems to be darker if I remember the color correctly? It was the only blue metallic I could find too, got it at NAPA, they had it at Target too I think, not sure.

Yeah, it is a bit darker, but it may be better than the Krylon Fusion Blue I am using.
That blue is more of an electric blue, I like this blue, but would like a darker shade. But I will settle with this...
Did you sand these? I assume no.

I'm almost 100% positive in came in red. It didn't seem like a bright red but more like a darker blood red if I'm not mistaken, I'd just go by NAPA and check em out it was just a few general colors that were metallic. I remember seeing blue, red, and green, and thats about it.
I was looking for a darker color also, I wanted it really dark blue because I was planning to paint my box in the future to like a charcoal so I thought it would look cool dark but I still like what I used.
And no I didn't sand that as it seemed clean and smooth enough. I was worried about it sticking but it worked out fine. The ***** DID get little bubbly spots in the cracks. The clear coat got rid of it for the most part and you cant tell unless you put your face to it.
Like i said if i paint my pillars I'll probably sand it just so its smooth and I dont have that texture, itll probably stick better too.

I am thinking a darker red/maroon. Krylon Fusion has a color like that. It's a contrast, but I think it would work. If you want a more matching theme, a metallic forest green over a gray base coat might be the way.
