Hey guys, has anyone heard anything about this stereo? if it will fit in the tc? worth it/not worth it?

Unless you need a cassette player (haha), then no, not worth it. You can get much better single din receiver for the money.

Its an ok stereo. CD quality is bare minimal for DACs and Preamp Voltage. Good idea if you don't want to spend alot of money and fill the entire double din area. No one would even know its a tape deck either. There are better single DIN cd players out there for the money but if your concern is filling the Double DIN its not a bad option.

 

great lookin and workin radio. used to sell it at best buy but we clearanced it out. only down fall is its hard as hell to use.

 

It's ok. It'll be a bit of a pain in the butt to make it fit, since the new Toyotas aren't really double DIN anymore (a little wider now), but I've done them in a new Tundra and Celica (both use the same type of radio the tC uses, size-wise). You just have to make some sort of trim piece for it, and it's fine.

That being said, I'd go with the Kenwood unit over the Pioneer, if for no other reason than the Pioneer was designed by drunken chimps, and it operates accordingly.
