Default Problem with driver's side seat track - Help?

Hi all,

I have an '06 XB with 47k miles. Recently I noticed the driver's seat is moving a little bit when coming to a stop. Took it to the local shop today and they seem to think its a "defect" in the tracks used - anyone else have this problem? Anyone know what can be done to correct it? I'm hoping I don't have to replace the seat all together.

Thanks in advance!

is the seat your talking about stock or aftermarket?
if stock might just be the locking mechinism on one side that is sticking open.....
also check and make sure the whole track itself it secured to the floor at each corner

just some thoughts.....

Slide it all the way back and then all the way forward and then all the way back again, then set it to your normal, then take it to a dealer LOL

My drivers seat does move forward a bit when stopping. I'm not sure if it's the seat track or the reclining mechanism not correctly locking.
