Default Problem with PA 10 Toy Ipod adapter

I got the PA 10 Ipod adapter from usa spec

I Installed it today and the connectins seem fine. for some reason the carstereo doesn't do anything. When I press the sat buttom nothing happen.
I have the single cd stock stereo

I think you're supposed to press the CD button...press it once to go into CD mode...press it again to go into AUX mode. *shrug*

ipod is up to date. by the way i'd like to ditch the cigarette lighter in the storage compartment of my armrest but i have a wicked hard time to get it out. I don't want to break anything. Since I can operate and charge the ipod from the head unit i don't need another power source.

Well, did you hit the CD button and did it work? If it plugs into the AUX / 6-Disc port in the back you have to hit CD twice to access it.

i hit the cd button twice. if the ipod is connected to the rca plugs ot works. when connected to the special ipod adapter the ipod charged but i can't switch the radio ino aux.

Looks like you got a bad unit. Just exchange it.

talked to the service rep from usa spec it's a faulty unit will return it annd keep you updated
