Default question about the rca adapter for the stock headunit...

hi, Im planning on getting a tC pretty soon, and while Im waiting im gonna get a sub/amp setup first, I had a few questions about the rca adaptor for the stock headunits...

1. Do these put out pretty good sound quality? I wont lose any quality right?

2. No wires are cut right when using the adaptor right? Because Im planning on putting a HU soon also.

thanks

eee.... i installed mine in july so i dont remember about the pre-cit wires.. all i know is that i just connected two adapters to the harness and two to the stereo.. the sound is okay..i do get the fuzzy static noise..its either the stock radio or the rca cables crossing with the power cable..but when you hit the volume the fuzzy static dissapears.. i would recommend it.. i didnt want to cut my wires so thats why i choosed that setup.

I bought a $200 sony and the stock HU sounded much better. Truth is the stock units are tuned well for our cars and push plenty of power. You can get the bazooka sub and the xm radion which tells us there is a way to get sub outs and aux in's on them. If I were to do it again, I'd have kept my stock HU.
