Default question regarding component speakers in general.

Im running a pair of infinity perfect 6.1 components in the front. I got them installed at circuit city because at the time i didnt know anything about car installation. I just noticed that the woofers in the door have voices coming out of them. It was my understanding that the tweeters were supposed to have all the voices, and high notes, and the woofers were strictly bass output. Should i be hearing singing out of the speakers, or did they hook something up wrong on the crossover box?

you might want to play with the crossover settings.

and where would these settings be? is there like a switch on the box itself? Im running new wires to the doors, rather than using the factory wiring, so many i can fix this up soon.

I belive you should hear LOW/MID sound (voices) out of the woofers, and all the HIGHS out of your tweeters...

The only thing on the infinity crossover that you can adjust is the tweeter setting (+5db/0/-4db)

Default Your speakers

Yes voice is supposed to come out of the mid. Your components are mids and highs. You will always have voice. You should cross them over from 80 hertz up depending on what they can handle.
