Default Quick release installation

I'm going to try to put a NRG quick release system in my xA. I got a 2nd gen release and for some reason it didn't come with any instructions. Searched this site and NRG's site and couldn't find any info.

1. Need to know what the silver collar with the split is used for.
2. What does the two wires (1 yellow / 1 black) on the hub connect to?
3.What are the two thin spacer thingy's used for?

Thanks in advance...

Did you get this from Chad(rockblocker)? He might know the answers.
