Default radio help asap!!!

i have a aftermarket radio and when i drive the radio gose in and out :? but when im at a stop light it picks up fine i put the fatory radio back in and it works fine n-e one know what i can do to fix it???

In and out......meaning that the power turns off?

I believe theyre referring to reception. Some people make signal boosters so you pick up stations better, but something you should know is aftermarket radios seldom pick up station better than your stock radio will.

yea they told me i may need a booster but i want to see if n-e one knows of a free way to fix it :twisted:

the stock antenna is in the glass. This is a powered antenna. You need to supply power to the antenna to make it work.

According to the wiring diagram, its a black and red wire.

Did you use a wiring harness to hook up your receiver? As was posted above make sure the power antenna is connected. I made the mistake when I installed my Kenwood DDX7015 of not connecting the power attenna and I had like 1 station. It was an obvious fix. :D
