Hi all! I will soon post photos of my 2005 polar white xb. I am currently having 18" white rims painted blue and am installing them with low profiles by end of the week, have the tires and am excited to have them on soon! I have all blue flame interior seat covers, steering wheel cover, cd holder, mats, etc... and a blue flame vinyl graphic which soon will be removed to have air brushed blue flames on hood as well as sides. My engine cover is being painted blue also and I have blue ground wires and blue AEM clod air intake and blue tip titanium muffler. also, have bB front strut bar. Various stickers on windows proclaiming SCION and trd may be removed when I debadge (not sure yet).I am having so much fun with my new toy box. I have heard many in forum complain with nicknames but I love mine and my vanity tag reads TOYBOXX. I have lots of fun plans and very soon will debadge my toy and place a Lexus or bmw emblem. would love to find an emblem from an old AMC pacer and badge my box with it! Look for pics from me soon and at that time I will also complete my profile. I am only xb owner for many miles and several counties. I am afraid of causing an accident from all the drivers hanging out the windows!

Did you already know how to change it, or did you figure it out on the spot? From what I've read, it's a long process to change that.

its not a long process but its right in your owners manual...I would feel sick if your dealer doesnt know about this. I would be scared to leave it there if they dont know that simple of a thing!

the one thing that sucks is that if you disconnect the battery you loose the greeting. why can't they keep it in memory like the presets.

Is that something that is only on the 2005's? I have a 2004 hot lava and I looked through my manual and I couldn't find it. What page is it on in your manual or can someone just tell me how to do it, it would be greatly appreciated.

i just found out that my 05 Scion Radio now plays DVD ...lol ~ j/k.

hmm... i should chk into the greeting message thing.

One feature i found pretty coo was the MP3 sound enhancement mode. It only works with MP3 CD... but if u push the mode button...u can switch to enhance the sound quality of the MP3....which filters the quality...almost like old skool db mode. It makes a difference IMO.

can you still list the procedure so that I can still try it because it might still work on the '04. Then everyone can change what theirs says.

this may be a stupid question but can you pop a burned dvd into the player, and will it recognize the data files on it (mp3's)?
