ok well i have a sony radio and the install kit but no wiring harness, cause im ok with the cutting of the wires but i want the aux plug to still work does anyone have the radio wiring diagram or somthing as well with any other wiring info. thanks alot im still trying to find it but my luck is no good... oh and anotherthing, i have sat. radio installed (sirius) will it work with a xm ready headunit? or should i just sell it?

 

the harness is 10 bucks...

saves you time and headaches of messing something up...

 

you should sell the sirius (they suck)

and buy XM!

if the new headunit is SAT ready it will work. if it is just XM might not

 

I would STRONGLY recommend against cutting the factory harness.

As for satellite radio, the debate on who is better will go on forEVER! I have XM and love it. I'm not into football, so that's no selling point for me. Baseball didn't really attract me much either, but XM is the way I went because I got a great deal on the unit because I have a buddy that works at Circuit City.

 

cut the wires...u lose factory warrant...get the harness you keep your warranty, you dont get white hairs...and you dont get stressed out...

HARDWIRE is only for serious installers...CAUTION...its new car for christ sake
