Real CF dash kits?
Anyone have one and like it? im looking at www.edashkit.com they have one for 240 or soo? not sure if i want one or not?
i too have seen chipz dash, and it DOES look good. I'm not sure if it's 'real', i haven't looked that close, but it looks more like a cf effect under a layer of acrylic. it has real depth to it.
I actually just ordered a full dash kit from them, but not CF i bought the Brushed Aluminum, so once it gets here i will post pics of how it looks and how well it holds ! :D (even though its not CF ill just show if it looks "good"
)
DAMN! do not get a brushed aluminum, IT SUCKS!! the material is so thin, and it comes off, there goes my money!!! I stuck and looked so sweet, but than like 20 minutes in the sun AND THERE IT GOES! all started to come off, so i just peeled it all off
damn, oh well, im just gonna have to save up for the CF wrapping of my dash board and speedo
did you clean the areas that you put it on? if its not real clean and doesnt have any shine to it its not gona stick. ive used paint thinner to get it clean works real good. also was the tape they used 3m?
I work at a company that installs a lot of dash kits, we use:
www.gemico.net
www.woodcorp.com
www.sherwooddash.com
www.bitrim.com
Gemico is really good, however, they are expensive. When a customer comes to me about wood dash/carbon I recommend B&I or Sherwood. Both good quality.
