Default really...how hard to install flip out indash dvd in a tc??

I've seen a lot of people saying that they were too scared to try and put in a flip out indash dvd player in there tc, but it doestn' seem like anybody's actually had the ***** to do it? does the door really interfere or can this be avoided by installing in the bottom half of the stereo area? I have a Kenwood kvt-815dvd and it has quite a bit of flexibility as far as position adjustments go. I'm really big into car audio and this is kind of a deciding factor on whether or not i buy the tc. I don't wanna give up my dvd...

thanks.
