Default rear passenger window problem

I have had my 95 xb since 04, the thing has been a great car but here over the past ear a weird problem has been occurring with the rear passenger door window. I live in and during the summer when it heats up, the passenger side rear window absolutely refuses to roll down, I tried numerous times and nothing but as soon as the temp drops in the fall and winter the thing will roll up and down like it has no problem. I haven't a clue as to what can be causing this, all the other windows roll up and down with no issues year round. What do you guys think could be causing this, I am not an electrical genius at all. I appreciate any info i can get. I have taken the panel off and checked the connections but everything is as it should be. this just really confuses me.

i have a similar problem with my rear ds window... when it gets real hot out, the window will roll down about 2 inches and then stops...
if i try to roll it down again, the same thing happens...
i have to press the butting 5-6 times to get the window down completely..
if i hold the button down, same thing happens...
i thought it might be a faulty window module, but i pulled the window modules from the alarm, and no better luck..

if anyone has ideas or suggestions, i would be glad to hear them
i have gone to the dealer when i was covered under warrenty, and they replaced both window motors and both rear tracks, but the issue keeps coming back each summer, only on the ds rear window... trippy....
now i park with the ds facing the shade on hot days and i try to leave the windows cracked to vent during the day.

I noticed it a couple years back when i tried to roll the window down on an extraordinarily hot day and it would not go down. it only has happened maybe once or twice with me but still confusing.

In summertime the glue holding the rubber trim comes loose on my xB and wedges the window closed.

Needless to say i just keep the AC on ;)

Try opening the slamming the door closed a couple times while holding down on the window switch. Let me know if it goes down. Toyotas are notorius for creating a vaccum inside the door the pulls the seals against the window.

my rear passenger side recently became stubborn too...when its rolled down completely and i try to bring it back up it goes extremely slow, then when it reaches a certain point it then goes up quick... confusing and a little annoying too

you can use Silicone lubricant on the tracks and it speeds it up dramatically.

It should be used every month or so on all 4 tracks

I had a similar problem wit my last xB, try taking the door panel off and see if there is any weather stripping getting caught in tha track. If so just use sum silicone to hold it back in place
