I thought about putting a NES in mine but i figured there would be too much bouncing for it to function right (although my NES is really old). So I'm probably going to put the Mac Mini in with an NES emulator on it and USB controller. Have you thought about going that route?

he'll get pwned soon enough

the emulator is the best idea
get a miniPC of some kind
or build a mini-ITX PC
i have a 1GHZ VIA mini-ITX
runs atari, NES, SNES, MAME, and NeoGeo emulators beautifully

Yea, do a Carputer with emulators. Then you can have a NES, SNES, Sega, Atari, and about any other platform at your disposal plus all of the other added functionality of having a carputer.

no " fragging" without a video card!!

If you are set on having the classic NES in there, I do agree with dontbescene, it will be too bouncy. But if you can get your hands on a one of the second gen nes that was the top loader, you should be fine. It has no moving parts and a much more secure fit to it. Here's a pic: They are a bit more expensive to find because they work so much better. It's not as classic looking but if you want the real deal and not want to have to worry about bad ROMs, and emulator issues, this may be a good way to go. Good luck with it.

LOL! I actually have a laptop in my xB and on that laptop I have a gameboy emulator with over 1,100 games on it... just in case anyone wants to play super mario land or mario kart or contra or anything like that....

If you have a PC in your car, you may as well find an NES emulator - tons online - and then just find a sweet ftp site that has all the games you could ever want for it...

If you don't have a PC, good luck on putting the actual NES system in your b0x

Our ECU's are smarter and better than the 8 bit NES, that makes me laugh
But sweet, on putting it in, play some Mario Bros. and duck hunt for me please.....
