You need a trim panel tool. It looks like a screwdriver with a split tip. That'll get all the clips off with out damaging them. Most auto parts stores will have them.

you can get replacements fastners at lowes / home depot in the fastner section for about $0.20 each if you mangle a few of them..

You very likely will bust a few clips. You can get them really cheap at the auto parts store. But yea, the trim tool looks kinda like this: [V] It's a 2-prong fork on a screwdriver handle.

In a pinch, you can use a flathead screwdriver, but be careful. I had to take mine off yesterday and couldn't fine the trim tool... once you know how much pressure to put on it and how flexible the panel is it gets easier.

Instead of using a flathead, use an actual fork. bend the tines apart in the middle and tweak the handle as needed to get leverage.

I just removed the liner and use the tool everyone is talking about. I doubt you could find a wide enough fork to remove them with. We broke about half of them taking them out so plan on getting extras.
