Default RS 3.0 Stereo Question

Ok so I've read all through the manual and it seems that you can't have the stereo scroll the text that you have for MP3 cd's or your iPod connection. Is this right? If so, that really sucks. Having to press and hold one button and then hit another just to manually scroll through the text is very annoying. Also, with the iPod connection is there a way to get it to stay at the artist you've been listening to when you want to scroll to another? Everytime I try it, it takes me all the way back to the beginning of my artist list, which if you have as many bands as I do on your iPod, you'll know it's very frustrating. Other than those factors I have to say that I love the stereo.

as for the skipping artist thin on the ipod it takes some playing with. i can now effectively navigate all playlists and artists, whatever through the remote. Its basically a repeating patter of folder to skip back to skip. Basically skip changes and folder ^ selects. Kinda hard to explain
