i searched but to no avail once again. I have a RS3 HU in my xB and im wondering if any RS3 owners knew of any easter eggs or secrets. (ie, there is a thing in the screen for Bass E. but i dont know how to turn it on)

so anybody have any hints or suggestions on how to run it (ie DDSUR or CSE?)

only i know of is the one were you turn the power off and hold the menu button and you can change the colors of the radio and a couple of other things

 

I am not sure about the upgrade RS3 Alpine but with my older Alpine deck you push the volume button to adjust the sub woofer control and push again for the BBE bass engine, it can be adjusted between 1,2,and 3

 

what Alpine unit do you have?

 

menu button? there is no "menu" button on the HU

 

BBE is different than Bass Engine, RS3 Alpine has BBE, but not Bass Engine.

 

i would also like to know some of the secrets for this deck.
it seems to me the only advantage scion made putting in this deck was the introduction to ipod connection, aux, and DVD playback. aside of that it's junk.. it doesn't even have a subwoofer output.
