is that safe for led waterproof diy
and i thought that leds were sealed units , the only thing that needed protection from water and the elements were the conections.
I have leds ( DIY under body) that I have never had a water problem , and they sit in the spray from tires.

Hey, regular lightbulbs are waterproof too. They are made from glass - just like baby food jars.
And plain tap water does not easily conduct electricity either. Especially with such low voltage across the LED terminals. But stir a tablespoon of salt into your water then stick that LED in with the exposed connections. You'll see some bubbles.... :D
