Default Satellite radio input

So I see the oem radio has a 'sat' button, not XM or Sirius specifically. Does that mean there are RCA inputs somewhere for an aux music source? Thanks!

No, there's a multi pin plug on the back that only works with the XM satellite receiver. Sirus will be available in Feb.

I sorted this situation out with my XA today!! Go to: http://store.yahoo.com/logjam/pietoy03aux.html ($75 shipped)

Ryan from Burbank Circuit City did the workhe has an XB-great instal job too with sub amp and alarm also). We didn't think it was going to work because there is a mystery output plug that must go to the cd changer or xm unit or something. I just pluged my Roady 2 into a miniplug to rca "Y" adapter from radio shack into the PIE Toy03-aux. and then the small plug into the back of the stock head unit and then realized you have to press the CD button twice to activate the Aux source. It doesn't have any level control and is not as loud as a cd and is slightly distorted with the output level at "9" on the Roady2. But it's nice having a portable xm device that I use in my other vehicles too!! I ran the miniplug wire underneath the easybake oven area/ sunglasses holder. You can basically connect anything with a miniplug to this like an ipod/mp3 player etc.

so where exactly do you plug your xm radio into your stereo now? is it a cord that comes out from under your dash?

Found it.
Spoke to them.. suggested the DF-TOY part (don't have the exact number).. $59.99. 2 aux inputs..
Probably good to screw inside the shelf pocket on the passenger's side or even in the CD pocket underneath..

just curious to see if you got this product and how it worked? I need the inputs to install my XM SKYFi2 as well.

Well, I'll forgive you for having XM.. heh. (Altho I'm ____ed that Sirius' CEO is now starting a handful of commercials on the sports/news channels.. eh, maybe until they break even, I can deal with that.)
Anyway, no. Not yet. Still looking into getting either this or a brand new headunit. Dunno yet, but first paying the bills then get toys.

got my SKYFi2, car kit, and 3 months service for $90 shipped. So I think I did ok. I was looking at the dealer option for XM... then found that it was $449. I think I'll just spend the money for the DF-TOY or the PIE adapter and keep what I have now.

Gives me more stuff to tinker with installing in the B anyway.
