Default scion security knock out and aftermarket??

i dont know anything about car alarms and the wiring diagrams for them but i plan on gettin an aftermarket soon. my ? is instead of having the LED light from an aftermarket alarm is it possible to use the scion security knock out (status monitor) to make it seem i have the factory alarm? will an aftermarket alarm harnesses connect to it?

heres the manual for scion security alarm. here you can see how the connector looks but of course i dont know if it will work with aftermarket so any people who do/know car alarms PLEASE help me out. its just an idea i have that i may try but would like to know if it can be done. THANKS

The Scion Security dash mount indicator has four leads on the back (that's if I remember correctly) two have got to be for the LED and the other two have to be for the microphone. The Scion system LED stays on for 30 seconds and then begins flashing after being armed. I don't know if that circuitry is in the housing or remotely located.
