No guts no glory. Don;t put them in if you ever want to remove them. TV's are nice, I don't know why you would ever want to get rid of them once they are in.

He doesn't buy it. The same reason I don't own a 4.0mhz computer.

Im confused....

Youve already done it in your previous car shouldnt you know the ramifications of it already.

Well if this makes any sense, I once owned a '67 bug...Modded it to a point of no return (made it a roadster). So then I get a '91 Civic and swore I would not "F" it up...Well after 2 trannys and 2 motors, and mods to the no point of return once again it was f'ed. On my '98 Accord, keeping it mellow with only a intake, exhaust and springs, I got to the point where i was bored with it. I started on the audio system, installed a body kit, and did some other mods to it, and once it came to buy the xB some of the Accord panels were cut and apparent scars from the removed body kit. So then it comes the xB. New and fresh everyone thought I'd grown out of modding cars and dumping money into it. Well sorry to tell you it never ends.

My advice is do it once and only once... Dont settle for something you do not want, save your pennies and do it right the first time.

Here are some of my mods...

The 10.4 inch HDTV flip downs will be shipping any day now from what I hear. No price yet though - not until they are ready to ship out the door.

I think with a 15" drop down its a lil over kill with the headrest but hey its your money and your car. If your getting it for shows then thats a different story IMO. When I installed my 13" drop down I knew that if I were to sell the car that it would be part of the sale. One thing you might consider is those premade headrests from Myron Davis or Visialogic(sp?) so you don't have to cut your headrest and can take em out once you deside to sell your car.

heres a pick of my interior...

Hope this Helps,
Hubert

Yeah I did the install...but wouldn't hurt cause I install for a living. I just recently changed my dvd player which was located in my glove box but now I got a din sized dvd player under my flip up screen.

If you are in the houston area, why don't you stop by my shop and check out my xB. I have pretty much the setup you are looking for. Amazingly, the headrest monitors are flush... no shroud sticking out. Here are some pictures.
