of course you can do it - what an 'odd' question. You coulda answered that one yourself. At worse, it's a matter of bracket fabrication and some wiring to make all the seat functions operate.
"Can I use the seats from a (fill in ANY random make/model/year vehicle here) and place them in my xB?"
......yes.

I looked into it, for a while, came to the conclusion that it would be a lot of work. The seats in the xB are riveted together, the only bolts attach them to the floor... and xB seats are much taller than most...
The other issue is seat width- you'll need to be careful not to get anything too wide...
And the airbag sensor in the passenger seat, at least on my 06...
Which is not to discourage you, at all, just be aware of the issues, and have a solid plan...

Those are some good points Jhhnn. BTW may I ask why you want to change out the stock seats? I find them to be quite comfortable, especially on long trips (600 miles plus).
I considered changing them out because they don't have much thigh support for taller drivers, like myself, and because I'd misidentified the ergo issues somewhat. It's really that the steering wheel is too far away, and that there's no armrest on the left side worth using... not high enough...
I'm sure that it all works reasonably well for people of short to medium stature...

just incase u still are reading this post the seats are done air bag works along with seat belt light just like factory.. well worth doing for me a few scion life member have seen my ride at shows.. and i got mad props
I'm 6'2", pretty big guy, and I find that the seats in the xB are fine. They're just as comfortable as the seats in the RX 330 I traded in, and more comfortable on the 2nd of every month, when the xB payment is due, and the rest that used to go into the RX 330 goes into the savings and investment side of the ledger!

yeah, i find them quite comfortable.. i mean im 6' 5" pretty big too.. the only bad thing abotu the xB that is killing me is the center counsel, my legs rub on it all the time.. and now the paint is like all coming off.. any suggestions on what i can do? maybe re-locate the center dash! lol thatll be hard and weird to do..
im 6'2", i made a 4500 mile trip in 9 days, i was comfy the whole way, kinda nice to be able to stretch my legs and not have to be able to get out of the car. But the lexes seats might look cool though, i have a 89 suburban with 98 accord seats it in.
