The xA's my personal ride...along with the BMW (still all Crossfire), and the Bronco. We picked up the xB after CES. The goal is to get every RF rep in the country to buy into the program. As an aside, the CEA2006 rating of the amps in this car is 200 watts total. You have to hear it to beleive it.
I debuted it tonight at the Pavillions (local carshow). People actually jumped out of the car when the bass hit (Bachbusters track 15....of course).
No one can beleive these amps are rated at 100 watts each and only cost $399 each

400$ for 100 watts? that seems like a rip
I understand that it's hard to imagine what real power can do, but you have to hear this!
We are working on program that will put a vehicle jus like this one in every territory. So.......keep your eye out for a badass RF Demo vehicle with a wall of 15's.
You'll understand when you hear it.

You are correct, it's basically a band pass box hooked up to a folded horn.
This box has been serving me well in my home theater for the past 4-5 years
first with some really old Rockford Fosgate Series 1 subs (pair of 10") and then
a few years ago my dad hooked me up with those JL 10" that you see in the photo.
With only 100 watts through it, which is way under powered for what these subs want,
I've cracked the paint in my apartment and I've had to go through and screw down
all my photos and poster frames.
Originally the "bottom" of the box was left open (As you see it in the photo) and
just pressed into the plush carpeting. What this did was "couple" the sub to the floor
of the room so the floor *is* part of the sub and room reverberates *with* the sub
rather then against it. The carpeting then works like a varo-vent and helps to keep
the impedance more level.
I've since tweaked the design by breaking out some of the walls and re-plotting the
throat of the sub (as you can see in the photos with all the glue and dust and crap)
to make it more even banded , added the foam window seal tape and sealed off the
"bottom" so I can use it in an upright position behind my TV screen, or haul it out
to the box if I choose to do so. I'm just afraid I might hurt myself if I pushed 500+
watts through this sub in my box!!
If I were to load it up in the xB, I'd have to get off my ___ and carpet or vinyl the sub.
It's been tweaked so much over the years, and people have spilled drinks and food
on it (I used to use it as a coffee table in the middle of the living room), that this box
looks pretty ugly on the outside...not that the inside is so pretty, but you get what
I mean.
The day I debuted this box with the JL Audio subs, the box was sitting in the middle
of the living room with a table cloth over it (stealth mode, LOL) and I had friends
and family over for BBQ and movie night. We watched the Matrix on my projection
screen, and the Dojo scene came up. The part where Morpheus jumps in the air and
slams his knee into the matt....well, lets just say that a "Table" full of ceramic plates
loaded with foot jumped and sent dishes 6" up and all over the place. Peoples drinks
fizzed up and all over and I saw people grab their chest with the impact.
My dad almost dialed 911 I was laughing so hard at the look on everyone’s faces I
couldn't breath. Just the shock and awe and slack jaws...that image is burned into my
head forever.
Oh yeah, that was with a 100watt plate amp.
It's all about design and execution, not watts.
