Simple question. Ipod holder?
We just picked up my g/f xa today, and we are getting my tc tomorrow or tuesday.
The xa came with a ipod holder that fits in the cup holder, should I expect one of these nifty things with my tc?

oh, and it is made out of a soft foam material. So it wont hurt your device.
Im definatly going to try to get one from them if they dont offer it to me right off the bat.

Griffin (the company that makes the iTrip) sells this product as the "iSqueeze":

Made out of the same stuff that those beer can coolers are made out of. Works fine, doesn't look too sexy though (IMHO).

it's deep in the center so the plug goes down in side the center and the cord goes up and feeds out the top in those pointy little side things in the middle picture above.
It works alot better then i explained it it's real easy cheap and effective. The only other ipod holder i know of on the market is the tunedock from belkin and they want 35$ bucks.
But yes, as Boxista stated, it is just a repainted iSqueeze. Which is not a bad thing

A cupholder-based iPod holder didn't work for me in my 2005 xB, but I am using an auxilary input adapter with the stock head unit, so I have to have ready access to the iPod controls.
I installed the Arkon CM625 on the left front passenger seat bolt...this puts your iPod above the shifter. Both driver and passenger have easy access, and you don't sacrifice a cupholder or passenger leg room.
Looks better in real life than on their webpage, but you can find one at http://www.arkon.com/pdamount.html.
