so i have a single 12 inch sub in a box and it slides around in teh back dose anyone have any ideas on a box design that would eliminate that. hell if you have one sub post pics i wanansee what all you guys have!

 

couple of L brackets and some screws. your box wont be going anywhere

 

i was hoping not do drill threw my floor otherwise i wouldent be askin sry... i kinda assumed it was emplyed that i dident want to screw it down

heres my single 10'' in a custom fiberglass enclosure

 

Get some heavy duty velcro- put some hooked pieces on the bottom of the sub box. It'll stick like crazy to the stock loop pile carpeting... It's how my seatcovers are held onto the rear seats, works great...

o ok, my bad dude.

a local tCer has one of those sub + amp in a prebuilt box things... to keep his from sliding around, he ziptied the screw mounts to an old floor mat he had in the garage. the floor mat has those spikey things and they hold it in place quite well

 

Yup, sticky back velcro. Works great. My amps are velcro'd to the carpet under the pass. seat. Its a bear to even lift it up! Guaranteed not to slide.

Velcro FTW!!! just slap the "hook" side of the velcro onto the bottom of the box and throw away the "loop" side.... the Hook side will stick like a **** to the stock carpeting in your hatch...

 

why not make something like this? my set up btw.

 

just put one sub instead of 2 obviously. amps on one side, subs on the other.
