Default SPEAKER SET UP

i just got the following:

infinity ref. 4012i 4" for the dash
2 sets fo infinity ref. 6012i 6.5" for the front doors and back
scoshe speaker adapters for front and back

all for $189.00

i know they aren't the best but for under $200.00 i think it is worth it.

i also have a 10" kappa perfect already so i think itll sound alright.

Thats not bad dude. Where did you get them? I'm looking to upgrade my speakers as well but let me tell you something I have two kappa perfect 10's ran by the infinity 611a amp and it hits pretty damn good. Let us know how everything sounds.

just curious, are most people replacing bothe the front door and dash speakers, or do most people add compnents, with the driver in the door, and tweeter in the dash? also, the factory speakers are rated at 6 ohm, does replacing them with 4 ohms speakers have any ill effects?

allright, installed the speakers this weekend.
ran into a couple of problems:

1. scoshe adapters do not work with 6.5" speakers front or back. i think they will work with 5.25" speakers.

front:
tweeters for the 4" dash speakers sticks out aliitle too much but was able to get the cover on.

i used the factory speaker bracket after smashing out the stock speakers.

rear:
had to go through the plastic for the 6.5" speakers

sub:

sounds much better than stock.

the scoshe adapters were useless so if anyone needs them you are welcome to them.
