Default Speaker whistling

I have an eclipse monitor/stereo with a kicker 800.5 and two solobaric L5's but im waiting on getting my speakers from kicker. When i accelerate theres a whistling noise that gets louder with the increase of RMP's and also i hear some static type noise coming from my speakers. When i upgrade all my speakers will this get rid of the noise? any help is appreciated!

That whistle is probably engine noise. The normal cause of that is RCA cables being too close to a power cable. Always try to keep your RCAs as far away from any power wire. Run them down the dash near the front so they aren't near any of the factory wiring then under the carpet to the amp and only go near power cable when you have too. In my experience this will solve your problem.

I thought speaker whistling came from poor ground?! Maybe i'm wrong but either way they sell a noise reducer at radioshack or like they said run you shouldn't be running your power and rca wires any where near eachother for that matter.

Well to me if it's crackling I would imagine that the speaker wires are probably don't have good contact with eachother. unless your using the wire harness then I have no clue but if you spliced them together check your contacts that they are nice and tight. Sometimes could be the contacts behind the headunit also. Someone please correct me if i'm wrong on this.

its not funny ill be at some party and a friend will hop in my car, then a buddy will see him and ask if they can ride with him to the next party, the next thing you know theres 3 kids in your car you dont know and they are asking if your car is turbo becuase it makes a spooling sound then you have to explain why its making that noise and then they think your a liar and your car is really turbo but you arent telling anyone becuase you wanna be sneaky or some crap.

Usually a ground problem....but if it's just rear channels of one amp...might be in the amp...or that RCA pair...or the speaker wires.

Yes...I'm so helpful...sorry for so many things.
