Speedo LED size?

Yay another LED question haha. Does anyone know what size LED to use to change the speedo? Possibly where to buy them also?

You can use either 1206 or PLCC
These works for me..

I would suggest using the PLCC, they are brighter than the 1206.

If you are using blue, white, green.. they aren't getting full 3.0v so their brightess isn't up to the par...
So either one will have similar output in the gauge cluster which was designed for amber voltage...

Hmm... don't know about yours. My speedo already had white LED illumination from the factory. Only the LCD display was backlit with amber LEDs. IIRC, those are 0805 size.
