Your stock head unit can still power it. Just ened to find the right amp.

I would suggest a better battery or at least a stiffening cap.

to quickly answer the question of the 8 speakers and a new battery, it is always a good idea when running a big system to upgrade the battery, but what you have to remember is that the battery's only job is to start the car. when it is running , the alternator is doing the work. Sooooo, if you have a giant amp drawing 50, 60 amps of current on the really deep bass notes, the amp is going to steal the juice from something. That is why guys without stiffening caps headlights dim and go brighter with their music. So I would suggest a rather large capacitor and maybe a new battery and at least look at a bigger amp alternator if you are gonna go big watts. The caps purpose is to store energy and when the amp draws large amounts of power, the cap will discharge it's energy to the amp instead of the amp taking all the juice from the rest of the car. Make sense?

The wrap technique is via eD Awesome tutorial, worked perfect. eD strikes once again in this project. I wasnt even gonna wrap it since i didnt know how and boom i got this email.
