I know this is a dumb questions and its been gone over before but i need some help. I want an indash screen and dvd player and i cant afford a double din eclipse or alpine or any of that. Can i get single din units of both and stack them? has anybody dont it on here (im sure lots have) and do you have any pictures of how it looks? any help would be awesome. I think i would use the metra parts that go on the side of the units but im not sure. so i hope to hear from you soon!

yes if you get 2 signal din units you can stack them and use the stock bracket to screw them in it real easy.

 

does it look ridiculous though? and is it stable?

 

On my celica i did a dvd/mp3/cd player on bottom and a flip out screen on top! put them together looked and worked great. very stable your using stock bracket in the TC. it hold 2 dins! only thing i could think about is heat with 2 players together could get hot with less air around them! but not a huge deal. I only did it on my celica cuz i got it off a buddy for 200$ but not a bad idea if trying to save money. i would rather go all out though on a nice car!
