Default Stealthy sub placement (xB)... Under seats or trunk?

Hallo dere all.... I'm looking at a very hidden sub/amp setup for my box. It seems there are two basic options-
Under the seat (amp under the other one)

...or under the right-side trunk panel (this setup made by Scosche, would find a hidden place for the amp)

What are the advantages & disadvantages to these options? I'm only wanting a 10", nothing crazy. Also just with the stock head unit and speakers for now.
So far I'm leaning toward the under-seat setup because I use the trunk storage area for school stuff, and I like the idea of having the weight of the setup between the two wheels (no sagging rear ) I am wondering tho if the bass response would be better with the trunk setup...

Which one do you all think is better?

Question: do you carry rear seat passengers often? They might want to use the under-seat space for their feet!

I usually only carry one fairly small rear passenger, and she has a childs seat...
Most adult-size people are always gushing about the legroom so I imagine a few inches of footwell space couldn't hurt too much... plus the box would only need to be on one side (amp is much smaller...)

My neighbro and I just bought the Scosche box for our xBs. Sounds excellent without even cutting the hole in the storage compartment top for the grille. Not Earth shaking by any means, but a nice compliment to the stock system. And as far as weight is concerned, its minimal.

I recommend the Audioformz enclosure. It is not super stealth, as in if someone were to look in the rear of the car, they could see a apeaker, but there's not a big box in the back, plus it looks good. Sounds great as well.

I am considering the same trunk box. Coupole of questions. 1. anybody found a better deal than crutchfield for 179?
2. what else do i need to install this into my factory radio?(be specific, links help, I am an idiot)
3. Is there any problem with things set on top of it or falling onto it from the cargo area(in terms of damaging the speaker, not sound quality)
4. anyone have it in there car already? I would like to see it installed and get any do's and don'ts of installing.

Thanks!

^^^ There's a new ebay listing that's cheaper-
http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll...MEWA%3AIT&rd=1
The listing doesn't say Scosche but if you look at it compared to crutchfield it's the same.

I really like the Audioformz enclosures, but I haul around alot of stuff back there and would be scared of scratching the finish... plus not very steathy.

i have underseat boxes and even with them installed there is plenty of foot space. unless they have like size 13 or larger feet they don't need tah textra room.

Yeah I will probably get a better 10" in there, but want to hear it as it comes first. Just picked up one of these-

- fits nice under the passenger seat. Should have the Scosche sub/enclosure in a week or so hopefully Thanks for the insight everyone...

Also noticed that these newer RF Punch amps used to be chrome-finished on the side plates, but they're now a metallic painted finish that is almost the exact same color as TCM! Good to know for peeps doing less-stealthy installs...
