Do you have the steering wheel controls for volume, track, and mode?

are you sure it's an '06? if you look at the V.I.N. the 10th digit should be a 6.

that sounds kinda fishy. I ask some guys at the dealership and they told me that the '06 deck won't go into the '05 and vice versa meaning they're not plug and play. But thats what they've been told by Toyota.

Well, they are plug and play...or at least 06 to 05 because fuzzbawl proved it in this post:

You should be able to get the '06 HU by request. This has happened to several customers of the '06...and it's the dealer's mistake.

Well i hope this is true and that Scion didn't decide to change them up in the middle of them making the cars. that has been known to happen from time to time. The only thing is now the 06' H/U doesn't look like that.
