I am trying to change my stereo but I don't know how to pop the faceplate off, what size bulb or smt, nor how many leds it needs. My stereo's lcd changes color, but the ***** and presets are still orange. Does anyone have a diy? Thanks.

Sean from ledmods.net told me the stereo needs about 25-30
0603 smd surface leds. Crazy, huh.

 

All need to be soldered. I found out how to take the faceplate off, it's pretty easy but I haven't done it yet, going to wait til the leds come in the mail.
