So I have my volume up to max in my XB and the music volume is almost nothing. I've tried everything (I use a Bluetooth fm thing I bought from Walmart). I only have 1 blown speaker (blown by previous owner) but I want to know if there's anything I can do or just to overhaul the radio and replace it with one from Walmart.

Is the volume really low just through your BT device or through your speakers too?

As for "overhauling" your current head unit, there really isn't anything you can do except replace it. I happen to have the OEM head unit out of my 2006 xB sitting in the basement. If you want / need it, I'm sure I can part with it for next to nothing.
