Default Stock 6-disc Pioneer won't play any CDs

I have the optional 6 disc h/u from the dealership and it literally spits out a cd right after I put one in. All I have is the radio.

Also, my dealership says I must pay a $100 deductable for any warranty issue with the car. Which I also must get my borla cat-back fixed aswell.

I have 56k miles, and i have the PLATINUM warrantee should i need to pay the deductable????

((i also already used the search feature and found very little to help me))

After doing some research, It seems like you may have to pay the $100 deductible. Let me explain, when you bought your car you automatically get the "NEW CAR" warranty which covers all parts for 36k miles and all engine parts for 60k miles. You are at 56k miles and you "basic" warranty has run out, all that is left is your powertrain warranty which covers only your engine parts. After your new car warranty runs out, your Platinum Warranty kicks in. However, when you bought your Platinum Warranty you should have been offered different plans with $0, $50, $100 deductibles. Whichever plan you bought and signed for is the amount that you pay every time you use your warranty. If you don't remember which plan you have, you need to find a copy of the papers you signed and read it over. If you did buy the $0 plan, then they should fix it for free.

Basic New Car Warranty info:

Here are some posts about the Platinum Warranty:

FYI, those 6 disc changers are known to be defective, thats why scion doesn't make them anymore. If they say you that do need to pay $100 to get it fixed, then it might be money better spent on buying a new head unit. Hope everything works out for you.
