Excerpt from my AUX input install...
Next, you have to pull apart your dash. If you dont already know how to do this, remove your shift **** and pull on the sides of the silver trim by the cubby hole gently until it begins to come out. Be careful, the cigarette lighter wires are attached to this piece. You might have to turn on the car and change the gear to drive in order to get it all the way off. Just set it to the side. Next, pull on the silver trim for the AC/Radio Cover part, being sure that the radio door is closed before you try this. Then, hold down the little tab on the cable connected to the AC controls, and remove it so you can move the console out of your way.
Here is the mess you'll have once you've removed the center console:
Remove the two screws on the bottom of the radio harness:
Then, remove the two nuts on the top of the radio harness:
