Stock radio help
Not really dealing with a Scion on this on,But here is my problem.
I replaced my stock radio awhile ago to a pioneer but I would like to put my stock radio into a different car (1989 S-15) that has no radio at the moment.
So I went to the junk yard this morning and cut the radio plug form a older camry and the wire colors are diffrent from what I can find on the internet. Is this the same as the stock radio becouse the colors are different from the plug that I picked up.
My question is are the pinouts the same?but different colors?
First page 10 and 6 pin.

Ur going to put the stock Scion Pioneer headunit into a 1989 s-15 pickup? Correct? If so then a camry plug won't work. U'll need the correct GM plug and splice that into the wiring coming out of the headunit. The GM wiring plug u can get at any place that sells car audio equipment (Best Buy, Circuit City, etc.) You'll need to wire the GM plug adapter into the wiring on the Scion Headunit and find which wires go to which, speaker wiring, power, ground and the headunit should work.
