What is the stock speaker size in the xB? I am looking at purchasing one, and I need to know if I am gonna have to do a major overhaul on my current system.

According to Crutchfield.com the fronts are 5.25" & the rears are 4"

 

Wow, they sure don't sound like they are. Is there any other speakers anywhere like the hatch that are not in the doors? If not, the acoustics of these xB's is just crazy.

 

everything i've been hearing is 6.5 in the front doors, you can squeeze 4" in the dash and 5.25 in the rear.

 

I used 6.5S in the front doors(they're actually 6.75) in the rear 5.25, in the dash it's 4", but if you're going to go aftermarket I wouldn't use the dash speaker location, because of the length of wire between the 2 speakers you would have to get a tunable crossover to make it sound right... I would just go with a component set (6.5 woofer w/ seperate tweeter)
