Default Stock xB Alternator Upgrade to Iraggi Alt!Info to help all..

What's going on people. I need some info. I was browsing through threads about alternators and possible upgrade options. I've heard about Iraggi alternaotrs from several people on the web giving him praise. So I contacted Dominick and told him my situation.

I'm looking for a alternator that can give me about 250 to 300 amps to push the system that I plan on putting in my ride.

Dom came back and told me that he can build alternators that can put outputs of up to 390amps hot! That is freaking amazing!!!! But in order to make an alternator to my specs he will need some pics of the stock alternator and it's caseing. He needs to know if there is room for a larger caseing.....

I'll be honest. I haven't even got my xB yet . I am deployed to Bagram Afghanistan and I am saving up money to put like a $6000.00 down payment on a xB as soon as I get back home. I am just trying to get my ducks in a row so I don't have to research all of this stuff when I get back to the states.

Can any one help me out and get me some pics of the stock alternator for Dominick to review? This will not only help me out but it will help out anyone looking for an alternator upgrade. I look forward to and appreciate any help in advance.

So many views....So little replies.
Come on people. All Dominick needs is a picture of the alternator and it's caseing and he will be able to let us know what kind of monster Alternator us SQ/SPL heads will be able to squeeze under the hoods of our xB's!
Someone get off their A$$ and take a picture.....

this is the first time I have looked at this post, but I can tell you that it is the same engine as the Echo, so most likely it is the same alternator. To get an accurate picture of the alt, it would need to be removed, and I dont think a whole lot of people on this site want to do that.

Hope this info helps.

He knows what the Stock alt looks like because he has dealt with echo alts before.
He just needs a pic of it's casing and surroundings to see if a larger alternator would be able to fit. So basically a close up pic of the alternator with maybe a ruler beside it for a reference to the size. I think that should do......I wouldn't imagine it would be to much trouble....would it?

Big shout out to k4kas for helping me out!
Callin big DOM!
Where you at man let these people know what's up and let me know if you need anything else from me?
I am eager to see what a upgraded alternator will cost from you and how much amperage it will supply.
(P.S. to all) I sent the pics directly to Dominick Iraggi becuase I can't for the life of me figure out how to upload these pice to this forum......
Hopefully I will talk him into posting them.
I will keep everyone posted.
Late,
Austin

Yeah I got what I needed. Piston is the man.....
I sent them directly to Dominick. Hopefully he will get back to me pretty soon. He is a really busy man though.
I've heard nothing but good things about his products so I can only imagine how often he gets hit up.....

The other ear is darn near impossible to photograph.
Maybe someone has had one out of their box,or have one out of thir box
now could help.
I looked on Ebay but couldnt find anything.
Very few Toyota Alternators period.
I guess they jut dont go bad very often!
Thanks for that info though.
If I were you I would just go with the small case 120 Amp.

Is it really.. Man that sucks. I hope someone can get us a picture. If not I'll take care of it as soon as I can.

What......:?
My amps alone are going to be pulling around 300amps when being pushed hard.
What would 120 possibly do? Our stock ones are only 80amps
I need as big as I can get safely. I am hoping I can get a 250amp alternator squeezed in there.

That would do me just fine. I still think I would need a Capacitor to help everything operate smoothly.

I have a 1200 watt amp and it only draws around 80 amps, what are you planning on putting in it?

Yeah I can't wait either. I am still debating on the subs that I want. Check this out and let me know if you have any suggestions for me.
I want low clean bass. But I'm debating what I should get in this thread. 4 15's in a sealed enclosure or 1 18 in a ported enclosure....
