Subs + Carbon Fiber Hatch= Any problems????
Im not sure if this question even makes sense, but I have a carbon hatch and am going to be getting some Alpine Type R 12's , are there any problems with the bass from the subs doing any harm to the hatch like cracking or anything?? Any help will be appreciated. Thanks in Advance!!
how high are you upping your alternator?? sounds like a good course of action thus far though....
That's what alot of people don't understand...You can only get "X" amount of watts from a stock electrical system....If you go higher than that, You're running on a treadmill(not getting anywhere) without electrical upgrade....

i have the cf hatch and a 12 kicker L7 sub... it still sounds good... not too much vibrating... my oem hatch was dynomated... but too lazy to dynomat it again... everything seems fine except that nasty license plate rattle everyone hates... but i only hear it when i THUMB the ish outta my box. hope this helps.
Just a small sidetrack please, I just wanted to know if the CF hatch is a lightweight hatch(lighter than stock) or not. I've bought a few CF parts and my front lip and rear wing are both heavier than stock.
As for your question, if it rattles, simply use some kind of sound deadening material on it.

If you're going for the look, then yeah, deaden away...
If you're saving weight.......
