Default subwoofer box xB

for everyone who has tried to fit a subwoofer box in the back or your xB, i have a solution. i am building a prototype 10" sub in the stowage box that will still fit under the factory cover. the sub is a 500w max 300w rms and only requires .5' of air space. the box i am building has .65'. i will have pictures soon to post. if you have any questions please pm me. :D and yes i will be building one for the xa as well but only 8" for now

Is Jon's set-up a 12 inch ID sub, or is it a 10 inch ID sub?

Another soon to be alternative for the xB will be our fiberglass enclosure, which will also be located in the rear cargo storage area. Tooling is close to complete and will have prototypes soon. I will post pics as they become available.

Keep Jammin,

Jon's box is really cool. I bought the very first one and had it made in carbon fiber. The enclosure was designed for an Image Dynamics 12' sub. There are 8 of us running this box combo as part of the Image Dynamics / SE Sound Team.

The new boxes are now made of injected molded plastic and are really high quality.

Also Scion Sport Tuning / Nish Designs will soon have a box that will bolt under the passenger and driver seat using 10' subs (preferably JL or Boston Acustics)
These have a very nice bass for those who want to keep their spare tire and storage compartment. They are sold separately or as a set for those who would like to move the jack in a different area.

We should have these products soon as an alternative sub box.
