Default subwoofer boxes for tc?

I'm just curious if anyone has found a good sub box that will allow the back seat to still fully recline. i need a 12 inch box. the back of the box would really have to slant down to the bottom. i'm thinking it's gonna have to be a custom job. damn.

Default good luck finding one...

yaahhh i got the stock sub from bazooka when i bought the car...and yaahh its kind of big..and it dosnt let the right side back seat go all the way back like the TC is made for..and ofcourse takes away room from the hatch back trunk...but i have learned to live with it and love the bass !!!

Sorry you said only 12's but I found the box I'm getting when he can get a manufacturer. You'd be better off selling the 12'" and getting a good 10" and buying that custom fiberglass box rather than try and pay someone to make a custom box for you, would sound a hell of a lot better, look better and cost less in the end. Custom fiberglass boxes cost over $1000 to have made.

Are you willing to get rid of the spare tire?

any wedge style box should allow the back seat to recline just fine......

Make sure, when choosing a box, to check the specs of the sub and match them to the box....

I do wish they would make one where the sub pointed back towards the hatch a bit more, would improve quality of bass response. I wonder how it sounds.

I have a custom box in mind that I will be building this summer. Stay tuned for details. I may go ahead and build it and save it for when I put together my sound system. If it works out well, I will do some blueprints. It will house a 10" sub, but a 12" might be possible as well.
