Came up with an idea to put a couple of 10"s in the rear. Had it in my head that it had to be possible to do this without comprimising space or using the spare tire well. Came across the following pic:



Similar, but a bit different. Anyone think it's feasible to perhaps get a couple of enclosures, 1 each behind the L & R backseats and mount the subs the same as in the picture? Seems the only tradeoff would be the reclining of the seats, which at this point isn't really a big concern.

I dont see why something like that could not be done, would cost a lot of money or your time to build though. Also it might look like you retain a lot of space in that firebird, but when the hatch is closed, you have only a small amount of room.
