Default Subwoofer Installation - Nylon Removal Tool

Hey everyone. I put in an order for the stock vse subwoofer for my tc, and I have been going over the installation manual just to make sure I know what i'm doing.
What is the Nylon Removal Tool? Its only used to take out the interior panels without scratching right? Would a flathead screwdriver with tape on it work?
On the intructions it says a 5/8 inch hole diameter arch punch is required, one of the members that posted the install tutorial for the sub said he used a step drill. Is there any other way to put the hole in there? I have no drill. Thanks.

you dont need the removal tool or the screwdriver with tape. Just use your hands, the panels pop off pretty easily

Ok thanks thats what i thought too. I remembered one more question, do I need a torque wrench, or would the a regular wrench work. It just makes sense to tighten the bolts. thanks again for the fast reply.

I don't know, to tighten some of the bolts I guess. I think i'm just going to use a regular wrench to tighten them.

A plastic splatula works great as a replacement for the nylon removal tool.
