Subwoofer in the rear
Has anyone built a subwoofer box for the right-hand side of the trunk space? I am working on plans for building a subwoofer box into the right hand side and was told that I need at least 2 cubic feet of air space to make 2 -12" subs. I wanted to use that space under the stock cover and turn it into a sub box. I dont want to sacrifice the whole trunk to have the thump! Let me know!

i believe audioformz has a fiberglass enclusure build for that, not to mention many people who have built a box for that region... have you considered putting 10's under the front seats? ive got a friend whos system BUMPS with 10's under the front seats
^^x2!
I have a 2.2 cu/ft box w/2-12's and it sacrifices 3/4 of the trunk. My spare tire and foam box are still there, however.
The roughly 2 cu/ft depends on your specific subs. All need slightly different air volumes.

I had the same question and wanted to use just one 10". I didn't want to buy anything and I just wanted to get the experience of making it myself with fiberglass. So I got the materials and without any experience I took the right side foam box and fiberglassed the outside to get its shape, then added the rest of the layers on the inside. Then halfway through I stopped and got an idea that I am still working on and am not sure how well it will work yet. I decided to fiberglass the inside of the box, then just use that for my 10", then use MDF for the top where the sub sits and cut it out of the shape of that plastic top that fits over it, and then carpet it to match. Right now I am still thickening the project, next step to attach it to MDF top. This is my first time working with fiberglass so I am not sure how well it will work, but it is great for the experience. GL BTW
