Hey everyone,

I just wired up my new system, a 10" Infinity sub, and a 5 channel Kenwood amp. Everything is working fine except the rear component speakers, is this something I have to adjust on the amp? The front components are working, the subwoofer is working, the rear ones though, they are working but their muffled. Any suggestions?

 

make sure it is set for 5 channels first..some switch from 4 to 5.....then use a test speaker to see if they are getting power...then check all connections including for polarity..that should get you started...... I always try the simplest first

 

Ill try switching it, because this one switches from 5/4/3.. thanks. Ill letcha know if that works.

 

Well the speakers work, but their very faint. I can hear sound out of them, its just really low.

 

did you use a line out converter?

 

if not is your amp switched to high power?

 

I think i fixed it, theres a thing on the front of the amp that needed to be tweeked. And i can now hear the rear speakers better.
