Default Subwoofer wiring?

Hello all, new '06 xB owner here.

I want to install a subwoofer myself so I didn't order the dealer Bazooka unit. My specific question is this, is the wiring for the subwoofer pre-wired and already run to the back of the car? If so, can anyone give me an idea where it is?

Thanks!
Joe

It really should be in the FAQ or Tech sections, but here's the writeup which will have information on the harnesses you will need with the factory head unit for the bazooka sub at half the price.

Default Bazookas at walmart !

Also,If you need a new bazooka ,its at wall mart,it has the same plug for the scion wireharness and plugs in ,Its only 100 watts (scions 300watt i think).

iT SOUNDS GREAT,adds a nice punch to the entire car,and it has more then is needed,i listen to the stereo with a negative 3 for the bass and it clearly makes it self known that its there.

If you dont like it just bring it back to wall mart, that simple.

scion bazooka is $300 I think,walmart bazooka is $100.

I have it in my car now and know that it will plug in and sound fine but its up to you.

Thanks for the replies guys.

But I'm still not sure if the wiring is there or if I'd have to add it myself, that is my question. I checked out the Tech secion and couldn't find anything specific.

Tom,

Do you mean a harness kit?

BTW, I like your Regal, is that a GNX?

Default sparks toyota

Yes its a kit,You need the wire kit from toyota and a bazooka, they are not on the car yeat, you will need to pull the radio and plug the wires into the back of the radio and run the wires to the bazooka.

I"m sure you can get the kit from toyota and then get a bazooka after or just get it all from toyota for about $400

check ebay also they have bazookas for scions but im not sure if it comes with "wire kit"

The bazooka wiring kit toyota part number is PTS20-52040-WH and can be had for about $50. You can get a 10" 100W bazooka for about $150. Any bazooka will work, they all have the same harness plug.
