Default Switching Speedometer and Tach Faces...

I have heard posted about it being possible to switch the wires and the faces and make it so the large speedometer gauge becomes the tach one and vise versa.. Has anyone done this and know what the steps involved are? or if it possible to do at all in a 205 XA?

Thanks

I really didn't have anything concrete, I was just curious about changing the gauge clusters around a bit. I had seen someone who did it with an xb and was just curious what it involved....

If it's anything like the tC's circuit board, it can me done. The tC guys are all over this... You might want to ask squall, or any of the other led guys on here.

that's because the xB has a really small tach inside the speedometer. they wanted to see their rpm's better than their speed. it wouldn't really make sense for an xA because both are about the same size.

Somewhere in Chadfo's gauge face thread is the steps to do it. IIRC, it's very simple, two wires to each gauge. They're both electrical and use the same type of motor. If the directions aren't in there, I know there are at least two people that did it, and got custom faces, so you can PM them for details.
