Default taking off safety feature on dvd player?

i have a kvt-815dvd and it works great. however, once i take off the parking break the safety feature turns on and stops showing the video. can anyone tell me how to by-pass this? thanks.

you have to ground out the wire that is running to the parking brake. if you look near the area were your break engages the wire should be in that area, that is ran to the head unit, just take that wire off the e-brake and ground it to the car, that will fix your problem.

ground it to anything metal and not coated..most people ground it to the stero's metal bracket - if you have any prob just scrape the metal a bit so its shiny and screw it right in.

ground it to any metal part on the car.

remember you are doing this at your own risk, and watching the TV and driving could be very dangerous. so be extremly careful.
