Has anyone experince a rattle/ squeking sound coming from the tC head unit cover? If so, how did you fix/ stop it?

nope haven't had a problem. Does it rattle open or closed?

 

mine rattles and squeaks too! like a high pitched squeak. not really sure it's the door though.. more like the entire center console where the climate controls are.

 

I had the same problem; Fortunately i had warranty on mine, and toyota replaced the entire unit (climate control, console door). But after a couple months, it started sqeaking again, so i'm just going to replace it again! its the Suck.

 

i did have that with mine and they did replace the door but the thing that truly fixed it was foam tape around the holes that the console clips into (the console that holds the climate controls, vent and radio door).. that stopped all the noise.. so yeah there is a fix

 

squeeks both open and close....took it to the dealer and they replaced cover.

 

Mine squeaks loud when its open and I'm driving on the eway. If I hold it or close it it goes away. At 5k, I'm seeing if the dealer can fix it. The door is misaligned like a **** too. Looks rigged.
